Serving as the front yard of the New Rochelle Public Library’s Downtown branch, Ruby Dee Park at Library Green offers year-round seating, attractive plantings, a full roster of warm-weather events, and now, nationally-known artist R. M. Fischer’s Twilight of Dawn sculpture, previously located at the Los Angeles headquarters of Sony Studios. Don’t miss The New Rochelle Walk of Fame on the park’s periphery, where over two dozen distinctive interpretive stations commemorate nationally notable individuals with distinct ties to New Rochelle and their contributions to America.
