Culture and History Programs Bring Inspirational Month to A Close
As Black History Month comes into its last week, we will be having some notable events in Downtown.
While you are here, do enjoy some shopping, self care, lunch or dinner and give local level support for our District’s year-round Black Excellence. We feature renowned Chefs and business owners including Alvin and Friends, Jolo’s Vegan Cuisine, KRAVE, KRAVE To Go, Roc-n-Ramen, Smoke and Spice, Golden Krust, AWA African Braiding, Dr. Miriam N. James, DP Printing and Graphics, Hour to Exit, Lorde and Andra Art Gallery, Habib’s Atmosphere is Hair, Massage Moi, New Beginnings Dance Studio, ToucheD Medispa, Yacine’s and more!
Bokandeye African Dance Workshop
Children and adults will be thrilled and enlightened when participants from the Bokandeye African Dance workshop, and members of the Troupe perform on Saturday, February 25, 3:30 pm. The rich and colorful history of West Africa will be shared through dance, rhythm, song and theater.
