It’s Time for ArtsFest Weekend!

Downtown locations are featuring many events

It’s here! New Rochelle’s ArtsFest weekend is back!

Did you experience the music and art at Alvin & Friends Restaurant 14 Memorial Hwy? We heard Westchester’s Teen Poet Laureate, Harmony Hopwood, along with DJ Ollie and up-and-coming vocalist Isa Blues live with her band in the restaurant’s Roscoe Room 7pm; 7pm-9pm  Jazz pianistJim Farley played in the main dining room.

At Trinity St. Paul Episcopal Church Parish Hall  311 Huguenot St6:30-9:30pm we had an amazing Moth Story Slam right here in Downtown New Rochelle! This Sold out event was held in Downtown’s oldest house of worship.

This year’s program is the biggest one yet thanks to the leadership of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts and partners. 

The calendar is filled with events all over New Rochelle.

This is a City with lots of creativity! We can’t wait to welcome you to Downtown New Rochelle where we have so much happening. 

Also, be sure to mark your calendars for next Sunday October 29 9am-2pm when there will be Free  Halloween Treats for kids and adults at the last day of the season at the re-started New Rochelle Farmers Market in Downtown at Anderson Plaza. In Ruby Dee Park at Library Green the City and partners will be hosting a special Day of the Dead Cultural Celebration. Something fun for everyone this super busy season!
