New Rochelle Downtown is where New York State’s second-largest Thanksgiving parade has been happening for decades. Yes! We have huge balloons that fly overhead, floats, marching bands and more. Think Macy’s on a home-town scale. Our City’s parade has been running on North Avenue and Main Street through the years. The parade is organized by the New Rochelle’s Chamber of Commerce and the City Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with many community organizations.
