The rolling green in front of Downtown’s popular library supplies grassy space for kids to run, jump and get the wiggles out. Older kids, too, find ways to move here—scooters, skateboards and running around the circle. All ages like a walk around the Ruby Dee Park’s walk where you can see our New Rochelle Walk of Fame that lines the circle. We have more than two dozen informational plaques featuring an amazing number of famous New Rochelle-ians. Library Green’s Ruby Dee Park is also where fun events are put on by the NRBID along with the New Rochelle Public Library and many of our community partner organizations.
