What’s your wish for America’s future?

From June 4–23, 2026, the NRBID — together with the New Rochelle Public Library and the New Rochelle 250 Committee — presents the America 250 Wish Project, a free collaborative public art experience inviting community members of all ages to write or draw their wishes for America’s future.

The New Rochelle America 250 initiative commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States through community partnerships, cultural programs, educational experiences, and events that celebrate the people, places, and stories that shaped our city and the nation.

The New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District is proud to collaborate with the City of New Rochelle and community partners in supporting and promoting downtown participation in these commemorations.
